this is much worse than spygate , in spygate ne could have used other means to get the same information that would be legal , so in the end does it really matter that much how you get it , even though it is technically breaking a rule .
team officials paying for injuries is so far past fair play its not even funny , its disgusting to think of losing playing time or careers of some of the best players in the league . talk about the league shooting itself in the foot when it comes to putting the best product on the field.
this needs to be a more severe fine than spygate

Yeah unfortunately others don't see it that way. Looking at other forums (non-Pats ones) and places like profootballtalk you can see the reaction is that while this is bad it's agreed a lot of teams do this, whereas spygate was out-and-out cheating. People can stomach what the Saints did easier it seems.

other fans are morons and i'm completely fine with the penalty we got for spygate

Yeah I'm fine with what we got, and I agree that the Saints should get more. There isn't enough Saints hate amongst fans, so you won't hear people calling for a bigger punishment than the Pats but I think you could see it, if only because this reflects badly on the 18 game schedule agenda the geniuses at the league have.

the worst part of spygate for me was they were warned not to do it then did it anyway
i might be alone but i don't think players should be penalized for bounty's but throw the book at the coaches and organizations

Yeah agreed. It's the coaches who lead by example. All the stuff coming out now from Peter King about the bounty stuff (i.e. the stuff shouted out by the Saints defenders when they knocked down Favre such as 'give me my money' or something like that) is insane.
