Same as last year, i've taken a look at the prospects and narrowed the draft down to the players I think the Patriots will draft. I think I nailed 5 picks last year.

1A (players I think the Pats could trade up for): Mark Barron, Stephon Gilmore, Dre Kirkpatrick, Whitney Mercilus, Michael Brockers.

1B (pick 28ish): Andre Branch, Janoris Jenkins, Cordy Glenn, Nick Perry, Kendall Reyes, Devon Still

2A: (would take between picks 33-48): Jerel Worthy, Kendall Wright, Rueben Randle, Alshon Jeffrey, Harrison Smith, Dont'a Hightower, Shea McClellin

2B: (would take between picks 49-64): Jared Crick, Mohamad Sanu, Markelle Martin, Kevin Zeitler, Mike Brewster,

3 (3rd rounders): Malik Jackson, Robert Turbin, Nick Polk, Marvin Jones, Trumaine Johnson, Chase Minnifield, DaQuan Menzie, Brandon Washington, Alfonzo Dennard (2nd round, dropped a round for assault charge)

4 (4th rounders): Matt McCants, Nate Potter, Isaiah Pead, Omar Bolden, Juron Criner, Jamell Fleming, Trenton Robinson, Bobby Massie, Markus Zusevics, Lamar Miller, Mike Martin, Billy Winn, Akiem Hicks, Josh Chapman

5 (5th rounders): Ryan Broyles, Case Keenum, BJ Coleman, AJ Jenkins, Donte Paige-Moss, T.Y. Hilton, Evan Rodriguez, Ladarius Green, DeVier Posey.

Late Rounders AND Undrafted FA's: Levy Adcock, William Vlachus, DeVier Posey, Marquis Maze, Cory Harkey, Donnie Fletcher, Tom Compton, Desmond Wynn, Johnnie Troutman, Moe Petrus, Vontaze Burflict, Shawn Loiseau.

i'll be happy if we get get one of barron , hightower , upshaw or mercillus this draft is screaming move up into the 15 to 20 range
i think DaQuan Menzie ends up a patriot
watch for Travis Benjamin in the mid rounds as a kick returner , great route runner but needs to get stronger and develop

I'd happily move up for Barron or Mercilus. Maybe Upshaw too.

Agree on Menzie as well.

I'm not a fan of Harrison Smith in the first round.

Barron, WR, DT/OLB from first 2 rounds would suit me just fine.

Mercilus, DT, CB, WR, Menzie would also suit me just fine

i also think people are underestimating the fit of hightower he can play ilb olb and de in a pinch thats the kind of versatility bill would love , would be another guy other than mayo that can play all over the place , good against the run and can run sideline to sideline
